March 19-March 22: The 20th Annual A Mountain Quiltfest celebrates the art of original quilt making. Quilters can compete in quilting contests, take classes, and see examples of hundreds of quilts on display at vendor booths.
March 22-April 21: The annual Dollywood Festival of Nations keeps everyone on their toes. The 2014 lineup features acts from around the world. There’s music and song from Atahualpa and the Zambian Vocal Group.
April 5-April 6: Drop a fishing line at the Spring Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament. Perfect for all ages, participants have a chance at winning cash and prizes in more than 20 streams pre-stocked with 10,000 trout.
April 11-April 12: The Grand Spring Rod Run will have your motor running. The April 11 event has hundreds of the hottest rods displayed for your looking pleasure at the LeConte Center. Enjoy a swap meet, live music and door prizes.
May 2: If you love a parade, you’ll want to join the thousands of parade goers at 6pm for the annual Dolly Parade. Wave at grand marshal Dolly Parton, enjoy the floats and listen to the bands as they make their way through town.
